Odd Man Out (2021) - Writer/Director
This is a short film titled Odd Man Out that I wrote and directed in collaboration with LaMal Mack of LaMal Mack Studios. The film was shot in Lee's Summit Missouri with a limited cast and crew over a period of 12+ hours. The short film follows three criminals on the run after a botched bank robbery. Tensions between the men begin to rise as they begin to suspect that one of them is an undercover cop.
Stuck This Way Music Video - Co-director
This is a music video I co directed and edited with fellow filmmaker and creative Ben Townsend. The music video is for the song Stuck This Way, which was written and performed by an independent artist from Lawerence, Kansas named Paul Jesse. The song focuses on some of Paul's feelings of isolation and the monotony in the modern age.
Documentary: Mark Von Schlemmer (2022) - Producer/Director
Pictured above is a documentary I produced in collaboration with fellow interns at KMOS-TV. The documentary features Professor of Communication and Film, Dr. Mark Von Schlemmer. We sat down with Professor Sclemmer to discuss his early years, upcoming creative projects, and a variety of other topics. Professor Schlemmer was one of my favorite professors at UCM, so I enjoyed learning more about him and the opportunity to recognize his dedication to his craft.
